News & Announcements

SLSPA Faculty to Perform!!!

Come help SLSPA raise funds for the year by attending our faculty showcase performance. Members of the SLSPA faculty will demonstrate their artistic skills on September 22, 2018 at 7 pm. The concert will be held at the Vieve Gore Concert Hall at Westminster College. Tickets are $5 for SPA students and $10 general admission. Tickets are available through SPA's website and at the door.

SPA Dancers get a taste of Russian Ballet

SPA dancers, Kayla and Abigail, had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Vivant Ballet Festival this summer. The program, organized by our very talented ballet instructor, Michelle Armstrong, was taught by Oleg Vinogradov former artistic director of the Kirov ballet in Russia.

Students selected for All American High School Film Festival!!!

Corvin and Lucas, Media Conservatory students, have each had their short films from last year selected for the All American High School Film Festival. The fest recieves over 2000 submissions each year, and we are honored to have been selected. The boys are making the trip to NYC for the screenings of their films and a big award show in October. They will have the opportunity to go to an amazing career/college fair geared towards film making high schoolers, as well has participating in industry pro panels and networking opportunities.

Now available to all SLSPA students, premium UTA transit passes at the one-time cost of $150.00. The pass is valid for the 2018-2019 school year and covers Front Runner, TRAX and regular and express bus routes. Please click the news article for more information.

Back to School BBQ

Join us for our back to school night BBQ on August 30, 2018 from 6-8pm. You will receive an e-mail with important information and a link to RSVP. Please ensure that you read the e-mail carefully and you RSVP. As part of the BBQ, parents will receive important training on key things for the year. Don't miss it.

New Student Placement: Dance, Music, and Theatre

Attention all new SPA students, it's time to be placed in your levels for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. SPA will be holding placement classes for dance, voice, piano, theatre, and musical theatre on August 14, 2018 from 9am-3pm. Attendance is required for placement in any upper level classes with pre-requisites. Click on the article to learn more about specific times for each genre.
