Because we are a public charter school we are able to provide students with a unique opportunity to attend an elite performing arts school without the high tuition costs. In fact, our students do not pay any tuition to attend, only the typical fees that a student would pay at a traditional high school.

No! SPA is a Charter school sponsored by Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), operating as a PUBLIC school, allowing all students to attend without tuition. Only normal high school and typical course fees apply.

SPA serves students interested in the performing arts from the beginner all the way to the advanced level. While a student may need to complete placement auditions to place them in the correct level of classes within the school, auditions are not required in the application process at this time.

No! Because we are a public charter school, we are able to accept students from the surrounding areas. We have had students attend from Davis, Weber, Summit, and Utah counties!
