Utah High School MT Awards

SPA Chorus Line and Ordinary Days students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards on May 12th at the Eccles Theatre in downtown SLC. Since Chorus Line was nominated for Best Musical, we have been invited to perform in that evening’s awards ceremony. Noah, who was nominated for the top ten for Best Actor, will also perform in that evening's show. SPA was nominated for the top ten of seven different categories this year. Tickets are now on sale for parents, guardians, and friends who would like to attend the awards ceremony. Tickets are assigned seating, are $20 each, and are available through the below link. Tickets are also available if you go to the Utah Festival Opera facebook page and click on the link provided.

LOVE- The May Musical Theatre Review

SPA families and friends, come see the May Musical Theatre Revue, LOVE, on Thursday and Friday, May 17th and 18th. The show plays at 7:00 PM and will be $5 at the door. Come see SPA's three levels of Musical Theatre students and enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and acting as characters explore the many different aspects of love.

Beyond the Blue Room

Beyond the Blue Room is the fourth installment of the Wasatch Home Cycle, original plays written by the theatre conservatory. The show runs May 2-5 at 7pm in the SLSPA Lab Theatre. Tickets are $6-8 and can be purchased at www.showtix4u.com

Dance Conservatory Auditions

Dance Conservatory auditions are scheduled for April 17 and 18 at 3pm. There is a mandatory parent meeting April 9 (6:00pm) and April 16 (3:00 pm). A parent or guardian of any interested student needs to be at one of the mandatory meetings. If you want to audition, pick up a packet from a dance conservatory officer and prepare a 1.5-2 minute solo.
