New Student Registration

Are you planning to join us fall of 2019? New student registration is on March 20 from 5-7pm. Please bring your student's birth certificate and immunization record, IEP/504 if applicable, and their transcript if they will be entering 10 -12 grade. Parents/Guardians should plan to attend with their students as they will be picking out their classes for next year. If they have any questions please contact the SLSPA front office.

Festival Choir Concert

Come hear much of the music our music students prepared for last week's region festival, along with other pieces not performed at festival, but of the same quality and level. This concert features all the SPA choirs as well as Voice 2 and 3 students who competed as soloists at the region festival. Support all of their hard work!

Dancing Their Way to College!!!

Over the past weekend, the SLSPA dance conservatory traveled to Vancouver, Washington to participate in the Northwest Regional High School Festival. While there colleges from around the US came to observe participants and offer scholarships to their various programs. We are proud to announce that our dancers were offered 15 scholarships totaling over $400,000.

The upcoming "Piano and Guitar Concert" has been rescheduled from February 20 to March 5 at 7pm in the SLSPA Auditorium. Come check out some great piano and guitar repertoire featuring the Intermediate Piano and Guitar classes.

The music department is doing a tour fundraiser at the Old Spaghetti Factory on Monday, February 18 from 4:00-9:30 PM. All you have to do is take the attached flyer (or show it on your phone) and 15% of the cost of your order will go to SPA! Your cost is no higher than it would be without the flyer. Little Women Takes to the Stage

Shadow Days are Coming

Shadow days are a chance for perspective students to spend an entire day at Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts interacting with students and teachers during some of our dynamic classes. Shadows are offered a wide variety of courses to try in dance, theatre, musical theatre, tech theatre, music, media, and CTE. S.O.S. (Signs of Suicide) Parent Training

Parents and Guardians:
We will be hosting an S.O.S. (signs of suicide) training for SLSPA parents and for the parents of other schools in our area. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 P.M. today, Tuesday March 19, 2019 here at The Salt Lake School For the Performing Arts (2291 South 2000 East in Salt Lake.) The training will last about an hour. If you know of someone that could use the training, please feel to share the date and time with them so they can attend as well. Madrigals to Perform at Grizzlies Game

The Madrigals are singing the Canadian national anthem at a Grizzlies hockey game on February 8. The game starts at 7:00. If you want to come support the choir and/or see a great game of hockey, you can buy tickets that will also support the music program at the school! Call 801-988-8026, and a $12-15 ticket will get $3-5 directly donated to us. Be sure to mention SPA when you call so we can get the credit. Tell all your friends and neighbors and have a fun night of hockey and music!
