SPA Regional Theatre WINS!!!

Congratulations to SPA's Regional Theatre team for 2017. The following awards were presented:

Best Ensemble of a One Act Play
2nd Place for One Act Play (Advancing to State)
Kaybri Wolfe received the Judge Recognition Award for Acting Horse Girls
22 IE Teams received Superior Rating and will advance to the State
14 IE Teams received Superior Performance Medals

Dance Conservatory gets a Superior Rating

Congratulations to the Dance Conservatory for earning Superior ratings at the state festival held March 3-4th. The company took 2 pieces of choreography for adjudication and both received high accolades by all three university faculty members that served as the adjudication panel.

SPA Students win big at Omega Psi Phi Talent Competition

In February 2017, students from around Utah competed in the OMEGA PSI PHI Fraternity Talent Competition. Nine were chosen to advance to the final round on March 4, 2017. Of those nine students four were from Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts: Brei Snyder, Coltin Snyder, Alana Stubbs, and Kaybri Wolff. We are happy to report that Brei Snyder was awarded 4th place and a $100 scholarship, Coltin Snyder was awarded 3rd place and a $300 scholarship, and Kaybri Wolff was awarded 1st place and a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to our talented young students.
